3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)

12 cups mini marshmallows (20 oz)

6 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

3 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal

Instructions:

In an extra large mixing bowl combine cereals together with spatula.

Warm large saucepan to medium heat, add butter and allow to completely melt. Stir occasionally to prevent butter from burning. Once melted, add ALL BUT 2 cups marshmallows, stirring until marshmallows are melted and gooey. Remove from heat. Add to cereal mixture and mix together with a spatula. Allow mixture to cool for 3-5 minutes then add reserved mini marshmallows and mix together.

Spray a 9×13 baking dish with baking spray. Gently press cereal and marshmallow mixture into dish with spatula or spoon. If sticky, wet clean hand slightly with water and press into even layer. Cool completely before cutting into squares. Wrap leftovers in plastic wrap or an airtight container.

*I like my RK Treats a little extra gooey, so I add an additional 1-2 cups marshmallows to the original stove top mixture. Once I add the marshmallow mixture to the cereal, if it is way too gooey I sprinkle a little Rice Krispies cereal in until I find the consistency I prefer.
